We love the way Dave Barry describes what it means to be a guy:
"One of the major characteristics of guyhood is that we guys don't spend a lot of time pondering our deep innermost feelings. But although I can't define exactly what it means to be a guy, I can describe certain guy characteristics, such as:I'm basically talking about the part of the male psyche that is less serious and/or aggressive than the Manly Manhood part, but is still essentially very male. My feeling is that the world would be a better place if more males would stop trying so hard to be Men and instead settle for being Guys."
- Guys like neat stuff (extremely powerful computers, the Space Shuttle, recreational boats, and wristwatches that indicate the phase of the moon.)
- Guys like a really pointless challenge (how fast they can run the 40-yard dash, virtually all sports, and a large part of U.S. foreign policy.)
